Business Development Manager


The Business Development Manager shall play a key role in initiating strategies, leading and managing programs, activities and tasks to ensure attainment of project goals and objectives.


  • Lead business development in Taiwan;
  • Prepare permit application documents;
  • Negotiate land lease contracts;
  • Identify suitable lands and properties for solar development;
  • Maintain good government and local community networks;
  • Explore potential business opportunities;
  • Collect/analyse intelligence of tender projects;
  • Manage vendors, contractors and consultants during project development period;
  • Achieve project milestones by identifying critical tasks and setting project timelines;
  • Ensure that the project deliverables are met, risks are managed appropriately, and organization’s resources are optimized;
  • Cooperate with the other teams to assess and recommend technologies that support company organizational needs;
  • Identify, clarify, and resolve issues during the development of new projects;


  • Graduate of Business or any related course


  • At least 5 years' experience in Land Acquisition or 3 years' relevant work experience in the renewable energy industry
  • Experienced in land brokerage and land development
  • Experienced in fish solar development and management


  • Excellent communication skill, in both Chinese and English; Taiwanese ability is a plus
  • Understand zoning regulations for renewable energy development
  • Contract management, field development resolution, lease price negotiation skills
  • Good negotiation skills and has exposure in dealing with landlords, consultants, brokers and property owners
  • Able to identify/develop suitable renewable energy property in new districts and new regions
